Beth "Eames" Murrell, RYT 500

I am a certified and registered Yoga Instructor. I started taking yoga classes when I moved to San Francisco in 1997. Since then I have actively studied varying yoga disciplines, such as Iyengar, Kripalu, Jivamukti, Sivananda, Kundalini, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, etc., with many renowned yoga professionals. In 2002, I participated in a 1000-hour certification program from the Southern Institute for Yoga Instructors in the Iyengar-style of yoga. I am registered with Yoga Alliance and was a participant in the Nashville Yoga Society. I am also a certified Kripalu YogaDance ™ Instructor - teaching various forms of creative yoga dance and cardio dance, a Thai Yoga Therapist, a Meditation Teacher, a Mat Pilates Teacher, and an Aqua Aerobics Teacher.

I teach privately in homes and group settings through yoga studios, dance studios, fitness centers, churches, schools, hospitals, healing organizations, and work environments. I organize individual workshops and ongoing classes that can be tailored specifically for beginners, children, teens, seniors, partners, pregnant mothers, athletes, special needs, and others. I am also available for substitute teaching.

Some of my current clients in Fort Worth, TX include LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and the YMCA.

Some of my previous clients in Nashville, TN included Bellevue and Maryland Farms YMCA; Vanderbilt HealthPlus and Peabody Campus; Green Hills Healing Arts; The Works – Urban Relaxation; Centennial Sportsplex; Belmont University’s Women’s Golf Team; and Nashville Community Education.

Some of the workshops I’ve conducted were for over 100 Sophomore Girls at Father Ryan High School, over 108 Vanderbilt Medical Students in the Class of 2011, a Woodmont Christian Preschool class, the Nashville Community Education Summer 2007 Program, and several other corporate clients.

My other interests include songwriting, writing poetry, playing the fiddle, oil painting, aromatherapy, and travel.
